The Rezidor Hotel Group, one of the fastest growing hotel companies worldwide, has apppinted Cornelia Erhardt as the new General Manager of the Radisson Blu Resort, Fujairah, effective immediately.

Cornelia, a German national, first joined Rezidor in 1978 as a Director of Housekeeping at Radisson SAS Scandinavia Hotel. Over the last 30 years Cornelia has worked in several positions gaining her a wealth of managerial experience in the hotel industry. Cornelia has gained experience all over the world having worked in varied countires such as Denmark, Egypt, Lithuania, United Arab Emirates and Jordan.

Cornelia is no stranger to the Middle East market nor to the hospitality industry having first arrived in the region taking up position at Dubai as General Manager for the pre-opening of the Radisson Blu Residence, Dubai Marina in the begining of 2007. In August 2009, Cornelia moved to Jordan to lead as General Manager of Radisson Blu Tala Bay Resort in Aqaba, Jordan.

In her new role, Cornelia will further guide and lead her team to establish the Radisson Blu Resort, Fujairah as a leading resort in UAE.
